Kitchen Party (with Mark Adam and myself) won Classical Album of the Year at the 2015 East Coast Music Awards this weekend. The Acadia New Music Society proudly presents its eighth new music festival, Shattering the Silence, on the campus of Acadia University in Wolfville, from February 2 to 6.
This year’s festival features guest cellist, Jeffrey Zeigler, well known for his work with the award-winning Kronos Quartet. There are lectures, concerts and a CD launch at the Anvil Pub during the festival, and you can find all the details at www.shatteringthesilence.ca. Some events are free, and tickets will be available at the door for all shows.
